1. Scope of the policy
This policy applies to all users of the “Faheem” app and website within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as to job applicants and those contracting with us as freelance tutors. It covers any personal data we collect or process to provide our educational services or to manage recruitment and contracting.
2. The data we collect
- Identification data: name, mobile number, email address.
- Account data: sign-in information and password (encrypted).
- Usage data: your interactions within the app/website.
- Financial data: when using electronic payment methods or for paying out freelance tutors' dues.
- Recruitment and contracting data: CV, academic qualifications, work experience, identity data, contact data, and bank account data (when needed for payment).
3. Purposes of data collection
- Creating accounts and providing educational services.
- Communicating with you about your requests or our services.
- Improving and developing the quality of the services.
- Evaluating job applications and conducting interviews.
- Managing contracts with freelance tutors and paying out their financial dues.
- Complying with regulatory requirements in the Kingdom.

Your identity is verified before the request is carried out, and the request is then processed within (30) business days of receipt. If an extension is needed (up to a maximum of 30 additional business days), you will be notified of the reason.
Multiple requests:
If a data subject submits more than one active request concerning their personal data (for example: an update request, a deletion request, or a status inquiry), our systems act only on the most recent verified request, and all previous requests are cancelled automatically.
For example: if a user requests the deletion of their data and then subsequently submits an inquiry or reactivates their account, the deletion request is considered cancelled and will only be carried out if the user explicitly and definitively reconfirms it.
6. Data retention period
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by the applicable regulations, after which we securely destroy it or anonymize it.
7. Disclosing or sharing your information
We may disclose or share your personal data in the following cases:
- With service providers: we share your data with providers of supporting services (such as electronic payment systems, cloud hosting services, or technical support providers) to enable us to deliver the service efficiently.
- With government authorities: where there is a regulatory obligation or an official request from the competent authorities.
- For business transfers: if the Faheem education company merges with another company, is acquired, or sells its assets, the data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your explicit consent: in any other case, your data is disclosed only after obtaining your prior and clear consent.
- For protection and compliance: we may disclose data where necessary to protect the rights of the Faheem education company or the rights of our users, or to prevent any unlawful or fraudulent activity.

11. Business transfers (Merger & Acquisition)
If the Faheem education company merges with another company, is acquired, or sells some or all of its assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. In that case we will ensure that the commitment to protecting your data continues in accordance with this policy and the provisions of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, and that data subjects are notified of any material changes that may occur.
12. International data transfers
We may store and process your personal data in data centers inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for operational and technical reasons. Your personal data may be shared with or processed by the Faheem education company or its partners and affiliated service providers in different jurisdictions, whose data protection laws may be less strict than those in force in the Kingdom.
Nevertheless, we take all reasonable and necessary steps to ensure your personal data is handled securely, in accordance with this policy, and in compliance with the provisions of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.
In addition, your information may be processed by staff working outside the Kingdom, and we will take all reasonable steps required under the applicable data protection laws to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this policy and the applicable law.

This policy is based on the provisions of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) dated 2/9/1443 AH, as amended by Royal Decree No. (M/148) dated 9/5/1444 AH, and its implementing regulations.
